Job summary

Inspekt AI, a Warsaw-based company revolutionizing property inspection through AI and computer vision, seeks a Senior Backend Developer to scale our global SaaS platform. You will write clean, robust code and help shape architecture to support growth and reliability.

You will lead a small cross-functional team, design complex pipelines for 3D visualization data, and drive an AI-assisted development workflow while preserving low technical debt and strong engineering standards.

Qualifications

• At least 5+ years Python experience with independent work and leadership.
• Experience designing end-to-end pipelines and workflows.
• Fluent in AI-assisted development and adoption of tools.
• Comfort refactoring large codebases and sound engineering practices.
• Strong English communication and ownership.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical direction of the system and evolve the architecture in collaboration with CTO.
• Design and build complex data and processing pipelines, especially around 3D/visualization data.
• Provide technical direction to a small cross-functional team.
• Drive an AI-assisted development workflow with multi-agent orchestration.
• Produce clean, well-tested code, review, debug, and document the system.

Position Title: Senior Back-End Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer who shares our commitment to excellence. You will work closely with our development team to create and maintain our industry-leading SaaS platform. Your focus will be on writing clean, efficient code, designing robust architectures, and ensuring that our solutions are built to last—without accumulating technical debt. We value developers who take pride in their work and who refuse to compromise on quality.

In This Role You’ll Get To:

• Own the technical direction of the system, define and evolve the architecture and make the calls on how it's built in collaboration with the CTO.
• Design and build complex data and processing pipelines and workflows, particularly around 3D / visualization data.
• Provide technical direction to a small cross-functional team.
• Drive an AI-assisted development workflow, including multi-agent orchestration with specialized agents.
• Treat the system as your own: proactively surface and drive improvements rather than waiting for assigned tasks.
• Produce clean, well-tested code; review, debug, and document.

What You'll Need To Succeed:

• At least 5+ years Python, with a track record of operating independently and leading technically.
• Proven experience designing systems and building non-trivial pipelines and workflows end to end.
• Fluent in AI-assisted development. You already build with these tools daily, are genuinely curious about pushing them further and about spearheading their adoption across the team.
• Comfortable reading, reviewing, optimizing, and refactoring large codebases against sound engineering practices.
• Solid with Postgres, Git, and RESTful / RPC services.
• Familiarity with Django (4.2+) is a plus.
• Strong written and spoken English, a collaborative mindset, and high ownership.

Nice To Have

• Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• DevOps: containers, CI/CD, automated deployments, and monitoring/alerting on database and web-server performance.
• Foundational linear algebra, matrix operations and transformations, plus working comfort with statistics and probability.
• Python numerical / 3D libraries such as NumPy, SciPy, Matplotlib, Open3D, and PyTorch.
