Job summary

INFUSE is seeking a detail-oriented B2B proofreader to join our team. This role edits long-form and short-form content to ensure accuracy, polish, and alignment with client goals.

The right candidate communicates clearly and collaborates with writers and internal teams to keep projects moving forward. The position requires strong English editing and proofreading skills, familiarity with brand voice, and the ability to manage multiple assignments while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• Proven experience proofreading or editing with focus on grammar, punctuation, and clarity.
• Familiarity with client style guides, brand voice and editorial standards.
• Excellent English writing, editing and proofreading skills.
• 1+ year of proofreading or editing experience.
• 1+ year of writing experience.

Responsibilities

• Edit and proofread B2B content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, syntax, usage, clarity, consistency, and brand voice.
• Ensure content aligns with client style guides, editorial standards, messaging, and project requirements.
• Provide clear, constructive feedback to writers.
• Cross-check references, claims, data, and source material for accuracy.
• Identify factual inconsistencies, unsupported statements, and potential plagiarism.
• Collaborate with writers, designers, and other departments.
• Review and occasionally revise internal documents and client-facing materials.
• Manage multiple assignments while meeting deadlines.
• Maintain a high standard of quality across all reviewed content.
