Job summary

Eleks is seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect to lead the migration from Microsoft Azure to Amazon AWS for a US-based enterprise software platform. You will design the target AWS architecture, oversee the end-to-end migration, and coordinate across engineering teams including .NET and React components.

Responsibilities include assessing the existing cloud estate, defining migration approaches, and ensuring security, scalability, and reliability.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and leading Azure-to-AWS cloud migrations, including end-to-end architecture and implementation.
• Strong hands-on expertise with both AWS and Microsoft Azure cloud platforms
• Deep understanding of cloud services, including compute, storage, networking, databases, and IAM
• Experience defining migration strategies and designing target AWS architectures
• Security, scalability, high availability and DR in cloud projects
• Experience migrating enterprise apps and databases between clouds
• Experience with .NET/C# and React-based applications
• Familiarity with SQL Server and database migration approaches
• Experience with IaC, automation, and CI/CD practices
• Ability to lead technical discussions across engineering teams
• Experience collaborating with vendors and stakeholders
• Strong problem solving and architecture documentation skills
• Upper-Intermediate or higher English level

Responsibilities

• Design and own the target AWS cloud architecture for migration from Azure
• Lead end-to-end cloud migration strategy, planning, and implementation
• Assess existing Azure infrastructure, applications, databases, and dependencies
• Define migration approaches for compute, storage, networking, databases, and IAM
• Ensure the target architecture meets security, scalability, reliability, and performance requirements
• Provide hands-on technical leadership and architectural guidance during migration
• Coordinate with .NET/React teams and third‑party vendors
• Identify risks, dependencies, and migration challenges
• Support testing, cutover planning, and post-migration optimization
• Develop architecture docs and implementation roadmaps
• Ensure successful delivery with minimal business disruption
