Job summary

ALTEN Polska in Kraków is seeking an experienced Azure/DevOps Engineer to build and manage the Azure foundation platform, enabling reliable application deployments across client projects. You will implement Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform, develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, integrate common cloud services, and ensure security and operational risk standards are met.

Qualifications

• Experience in building a range of services in Azure.
• Expert understanding of DevOps principles and Infrastructure-as-Code concepts.
• Proficiency in implementing CI/CD pipelines across multiple technology stacks.
• Knowledge of security and compliance, including IAM and cloud auditing/monitoring tools.
• Strong customer and stakeholder focus, with the ability to build relationships with application teams and global/local IT teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage the Azure foundation platform to enable application deployments.
• Engineer solutions on the Azure platform using Infrastructure-as-Code methods (e.g., Terraform).
• Execute the functional pattern lifecycle process (design, document, develop, and maintain code libraries).
• Integrate, configure, deploy, and manage common cloud services (e.g., IAM, networking, monitoring, operating systems, containers).
• Manage Azure connectivity and networking (Express Route, DNS, IP allocation, traffic routing, NSGs, and Azure Firewall).
• Use centrally agreed base hardened OS images (Linux and Windows).
• Ensure compliance with centrally defined security standards.
• Ensure compliance with operational risk standards.
