Job summary

Avensys Consulting UK in Kraków, Poland, seeks a Cloud/DevOps Engineer to build and manage an Azure foundation platform enabling seamless app deployments. You will design and implement IaC solutions (Terraform) and integrate centrally provided cloud services including IAM, networking, OS images and containers.

You will also manage Azure connectivity (ExpressRoute, DNS, NSG, Firewall) and ensure security and compliance with operational risk standards while working 2 days per week from the office.

Qualifications

• Experience building services on Azure.
• Expert understanding of DevOps and IaC concepts.
• Proficient in CI/CD pipelines across multiple stacks.
• Security, auditing and cloud compliance tooling experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage Azure foundation platform to enable application deployments.
• Engineer solutions on Azure foundation platform using Infrastructure-as-Code methods (Terraform).
• Execute the functional pattern lifecycle process (design, document, develop and maintain) code library.
• Integrate, configure, deploy and manage centrally provided common cloud services (IAM, networking, OS, containers).
• Manage Azure connectivity and networking (ExpressRoute, DNS, IP allocation, traffic routing, NSG, Azure Firewall).
• Consume centrally agreed base Hardened OS images (Linux and Windows).
• Ensure compliance with centrally defined Security.
• Ensure compliance with Operational risk standards (Network, Firewall, OS, Logging, Monitoring, Availability, Resiliency).

What you need to have to succeed in this role

• Experience of building a range of Services in Azure
• Expert understanding of DevOps principles and Infrastructure-as-Code concepts and techniques
• Proficient understanding and implementation of CI/CD pipeline on multiple technology stacks
• Security and Compliance, e.g. IAM and cloud compliance/auditing/monitoring tools

Customer/stakeholder focus. Ability to build strong relationships with Application teams, cross functional IT and global/local IT teams
