Job summary

Traffit is seeking a senior DevOps/Cloud Engineer to join a cloud platform modernization project migrating legacy services to a new Azure-based platform built around AKS, Terraform, Helm, and Azure DevOps. You’ll work hands-on across infrastructure automation, Kubernetes, networking, security, CI/CD, and cost optimization.

Qualifications

• Strong Kubernetes and Helm chart experience.
• Hands-on Terraform across multiple IaC layers and cloud services.
• Proficient in Azure services: AKS, Front Door, WAF, Application Gateway, RBAC.

Responsibilities

• Port legacy services onto the new AKS clusters and migrate CI/CD pipelines into Azure DevOps using shared templates.
• Extend Terraform across multiple IaC layers including compute, hub, and monitoring.
• Create and maintain Helm charts for services and deployments.
• Implement traffic-routing changes to move internal calls to Azure-native edge services.
• Decommission obsolete infrastructure while managing Terraform state and dependencies.
• Right-size Cosmos DB and Redis for cost and performance optimization.
• Contribute to platform security hardening across the stack.
• Maintain healthy and reliable CI/CD pipelines across environments.
• Handle day-to-day platform engineering tasks including provisioning, drift remediation, and BAU tickets.
• Support teams onboarding services onto the platform and create runbooks for SRE handover.
