Job summary

Vattenfall seeks a DevOps Cloud Engineer to design, implement and operate Azure-based cloud platforms. You will build CI/CD pipelines, manage IaC with ARM/Bicep, and automate provisioning while ensuring secure, scalable operations across data platforms.

You will collaborate with cloud, architecture, and data teams to advance an enterprise data platform, improve governance, and enable data-driven decision-making in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience as a Cloud Engineer or DevOps role in Azure.
• Hands-on with Azure Databricks in operations, governance or platform engineering.
• Strong knowledge of Azure services including Networking, Storage, App Services and Azure AD.
• Experience with CI/CD, IaC tools (ARM, Bicep, Terraform) and scripting.
• Familiarity with data platforms like Databricks or Snowflake.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and operate Azure-based cloud platform solutions.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, Git and automation tools.
• Develop and manage IaC using ARM, Bicep and scripting.
• Automate provisioning and lifecycle management of cloud resources.
• Maintain self-service platform capabilities based on .NET Core/Angular.
• Ensure platform reliability, availability and security governance.
