Job summary

Sii Poland seeks an experienced Senior Data Architect to lead a strategic Azure-based data platform initiative supporting enterprise-wide data products, analytics and reporting.

You will define end-to-end Azure data architecture, drive data products, and modernize legacy reporting. The role requires strong Python/Spark/SQL skills, 5+ years in data architecture leadership, and English proficiency. A quarterly Wroclaw office visit is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in data architecture leadership.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern end-to-end Azure data architecture, including data ingestion, integration, transformation, and Medallion architecture standards.
• Lead the design and development of scalable Data Products and guide engineering teams on ETL/ELT, streaming, and data integration
• Drive the modernization of legacy reporting and data warehouse solutions, including migration from SSIS/SSAS to Azure architectures
• Provide architectural oversight for supplier-managed SaaS/COTS applications, ensuring secure onboarding, compliance, and technical alignment
• Collaborate with stakeholders, suppliers, and technical teams to support platform evolution, security initiatives, and audit requirements
