Job summary
Grid Dynamics seeks a Data Engineer to join a new business reporting initiative for a global food and beverage leader. You will connect multiple data sources, build ingestion pipelines on Azure Data Factory, and transform data in Databricks using PySpark and SQL to deliver consistent KPIs across sources.
You will own the Master KPI table, work with business stakeholders to shape requirements, and contribute to a cutting-edge analytics platform in a dynamic project environment with flexible
Qualifications
- Commercial experience as a Data Engineer on the Azure platform.
- Hands-on Databricks experience with PySpark and SQL.
- Practical experience designing and orchestrating data pipelines in Azure Data Factory.
- General understanding of the Azure platform and its services.
- Strong communication with business stakeholders and comfort with evolving requirements.
- Ability to ask the right questions, propose solutions and bring structure to ambiguous tasks.
Responsibilities
- Source Integration: connect with existing reporting tools and data sources.
- Pipeline Development: design/build data pipelines in Azure Data Factory for advertising/marketing data.
- Data Transformation: process/clean/model data in Databricks using PySpark and SQL.
- Master Table Ownership: consolidate KPIs into a central Master table for reporting.
- Requirements Shaping: collaborate with business stakeholders to refine evolving requirements.
