Job summary

SoftwareOne is seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Team Leader to drive the design, development, and delivery of secure, scalable IT solutions across cloud architectures. You will mentor the cloud team, plan workloads, and collaborate with DevOps, Security, and network teams to ensure compliance and high availability.

The role involves presales activity, cloud architecture leadership, and working in a remote-first environment with periodic in-office presence, reporting to the Data and AI Team

Qualifications

• Azure and AWS services knowledge required.
• DevOps/CI/CD experience (Azure DevOps, GitHub, GitLab).
• Terraform basics required.
• Network design (VNET/VPC, routing, VPN, ExpressRoute/Direct Connect).
• Experience with hybrid environments (on-prem + cloud).
• Understanding of security in cloud/hybrid environments.
• Experience designing highly available and scalable architectures.
• Certifications: Azure Architect Expert, Azure Administrator Associate, AWS Solutions Architect – Professional.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical mentoring to the cloud team.
• Plan team workload and competency development.
• Design cloud architectures in cloud-native, hybrid cloud, and multi-cloud models.
• Act as a cloud architect in delivery projects (requirements analysis, workshops, recommendations).
• Build and develop infrastructure based on Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Define standards, architectural patterns, and best practices.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Security, Network, and development teams.
• Ensure a high level of security and compliance.
• Participate in presales activities (concepts, estimation support, high-level architectures).
