Job summary

Vertex Agility is seeking a skilled Microsoft Azure Cloud Engineer to join our cloud engineering team in Kraków. The role focuses on designing, building, and managing secure, scalable Azure infrastructure with automation and IaC.

You will collaborate with cloud, application, and cybersecurity teams to deliver secure-by-design cloud solutions that meet security, compliance, and operational standards while enabling reliable deployments across projects.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Azure experience building and managing services.
• Strong DevOps, CI/CD, and IaC practices.
• Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines across stacks.
• Proficiency with Terraform or similar automation tools.
• Knowledge of cloud security, IAM, compliance, and monitoring.
• Familiarity with Linux and Windows OS in cloud environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Build, configure, and manage Azure cloud foundation platforms to support application deployments.
• Design, develop, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform.
• Design, document, develop, and maintain reusable infrastructure patterns, modules, and code libraries.
• Integrate, configure, deploy, and manage common cloud services, including IAM, networking, monitoring, operating systems, and containers.
• Manage Azure connectivity and networking, including ExpressRoute, DNS, IP address allocation, traffic routing, NSGs, and Azure Firewall.
• Work with approved hardened Linux and Windows operating system images.
• Ensure cloud infrastructure adheres to defined security policies, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
• Implement and maintain operational controls covering networking, firewalls, logging, monitoring, availability, and resilience.
• Collaborate with application teams, security teams, and other stakeholders to deliver reliable and compliant cloud infrastructure.
