Volkswagen Financial Services (Poland) is seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Architect to design, govern, and evolve a multi-hybrid Azure-based cloud ecosystem supporting critical applications.

You will drive migration, establish governance, and promote IaC using Terraform and/or Bicep, collaborating across security, networking, and operations to meet regulatory requirements. Fluency in English and Polish is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Strong expertise in Azure Landing Zones and Enterprise Scale Architecture.
• Hands-on experience with hybrid cloud environments (Azure Public Cloud, Azure Local, Azure Stack Hub).
• Deep understanding of Azure networking, security, identity and access management (Microsoft Entra ID), governance, and resilience concepts.
• Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and/or Bicep).
• Experience leading or supporting cloud migration and modernization programs.
• Knowledge of regulatory, security, and compliance requirements in enterprise environments, preferably financial services.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and consulting skills.
• Professional proficiency in English and Polish.

Responsabilités

• Define, maintain, and promote the target architecture for the multi-hybrid cloud environment.
• Design and implement scalable, secure cloud solutions based on Microsoft Azure best practices.
• Drive cloud migration and modernization initiatives including transitions between Azure Stack Hub, Azure Local, and Azure Public Cloud.
• Establish architecture standards, governance models, and cloud design principles.
• Support onboarding of new applications and workloads to the target cloud platform.
• Conduct architecture reviews and provide technical guidance to project and engineering teams.
• Collaborate with security, networking, and operations teams to ensure compliance with requirements.
• Define and promote Infrastructure as Code standards using Terraform and/or Bicep.
• Support continuous improvement of cloud platform services focused on automation and operational excellence.
• Act as trusted advisor translating business requirements into sustainable cloud solutions.

We are looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Architect to join our growing Cloud Platform team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, governing, and evolving our Azure-based cloud ecosystem, ensuring secure, scalable, and automated platform services that support business-critical applications.

You will play a key role in shaping our multi-hybrid cloud strategy, collaborating with infrastructure, security, and application teams to deliver modern cloud solutions across Azure Public Cloud, Azure Local, and Azure Stack Hub environments.

Main Tasks:

• Define, maintain, and promote the target architecture for the organization's multi-hybrid cloud environment.
• Design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions based on Microsoft Azure best practices.
• Drive cloud migration and modernization initiatives, including the transition from Azure Stack Hub to Azure Local and Azure Public Cloud.
• Establish architecture standards, governance models, and cloud design principles.
• Support the onboarding of new applications and workloads to the target cloud platform.
• Conduct architecture reviews and provide technical guidance to project and engineering teams.
• Collaborate with security, networking, and operations teams to ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
