Job summary

GlobalLogic Automotive is seeking a System Test Engineer/Developer to join a high-impact automotive project in Kraków. You will bridge test automation with hands-on HIL/Box Car operations across the software development lifecycle, delivering robust automated tests and reliable hardware setups.

You will design and maintain test scripts, convert ambiguous requirements into scalable automation, analyze logs, and contribute to continuous improvement in test coverage for CAN/Ethernet/LIN networks.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in system testing within embedded/automotive domains.
• Scripting and log analysis using Python, CAPL or C#.
• Experience with HIL rigs or Box Car setups.
• Designing test automation frameworks and scripts.
• Proactive problem-solver with ambiguous requirements.
• Knowledge of CAN, Ethernet and LIN protocols is a plus.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Bridge test automation and hardware setup across the software lifecycle.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
• Convert manual tests and vague requirements into scalable automation.
• Parse and analyze system logs from test environments using Python, CAPL, or C#.
• Perform functional, exploratory, and regression tests including diagnostics.
• Analyze results, perform root-cause analysis, and report defects.
• Document summaries and manage detailed bug tickets.
