Job summary

Cognitran Sp. z o.o. in Poland is seeking an experienced tester to join our software release team. You will design and execute test plans, write test specifications, and produce reports to support quality decisions.

The role involves web-based application testing, defect tracking, and collaboration with developers in agile projects. Familiarity with automation tools (Selenium, JMeter) and version control will help you thrive.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years experience in system testing within a software release environment.
• Strong understanding of testing processes from both a technical and business perspective.
• Knowledge of the development lifecycle and the role of testing within it.
• Experience testing web-based applications.
• Familiar with defect tracking and version control systems.
• Experience with automation tools (Selenium or similar).
• Experience with load testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
• Familiar with Agile development and test methodology.
• Ability to investigate problems and reproduce defects for developers to fix.
• Able to manage multiple concurrent projects and adapt to changes.
