Job summary

Element Logic is seeking an Automation Project Manager to lead end-to-end coordination of automation and material flow systems in intralogistics projects. You will ensure seamless integration of PLC, electrical engineering, and material handling technology, delivering on schedule and within scope.

The ideal candidate has a degree in engineering and more than five years of relevant experience, with strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

  • Strong understanding of automation and intralogistics systems.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the central technical liaison between engineering teams, suppliers, project management, and the customer.

  • Coordinate engineering activities and track technical milestones.
  • Monitor suppliers regarding quality, delivery, and specifications.
  • Assist with commissioning and act as the point of contact for escalated technical issues.

As an Automation Project Manager (f/m/d), you will be responsible for the end-to-end technical coordination and integration of automation and material flow systems within intralogistics projects. You will ensure that all automation-related disciplines—PLC, electrical engineering, and material handling equipment—are coordinated and integrated, and that they are implemented on schedule while meeting scope and quality requirements.
In addition, you can expect the following responsibilities and areas of focus:
Your Responsibilities
  • You will serve as the central technical liaison between the engineering teams, suppliers, project management, and the customer.
  • You will be responsible for the technical scope of automation within projects (PLC, electrical engineering, material handling technology).
  • You will coordinate engineering activities and track technical milestones.
  • You will monitor suppliers with regard to quality, delivery, and specifications.
  • You will assist with commissioning and serve as the point of contact for escalating technical issues.
  • You will ensure system integration across all interfaces and disciplines.
Your Profile
You hold a degree in engineering or a comparable qualification and, ideally, have more than five years of relevant professional experience. You combine strategic and entrepreneurial thinking and action, and understand that success is only possible as part of a team.
In Addition, You Possess The Following Qualifications
  • Extensive experience with automation and intralogistics systems, ideally in the following areas:
  • PLC programming (e.g., Siemens TIA)
  • Electrical engineering design (e.g., EPLAN)
  • Material flow systems (conveyor systems, AS/RS integration)
  • Extensive experience in intralogistics with a focus on material flow, warehouse design, and process optimization.
  • Strong commitment to quality, structured and independent work style.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively analyze and resolve customer issues.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to support colleagues and achieve shared goals.
  • Very good English (C1)
