Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. seeks an Automation and CAPEX Lead for HUB EUC to shape the investment and automation strategy across HUB Europe.

You will oversee CapEx governance, manage a portfolio of investments and automation initiatives, and drive smart factory transformations with factory leadership and project stakeholders. The role requires a Master or Bachelor in engineering or related field, at least 7 years in manufacturing with 3+ in leadership related to CapEx/Automation, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in manufacturing environments with leadership in CapEx, automation, or operations.
• Strong knowledge of Industry 4.0 technologies and smart factories.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead HUB Europe CapEx and Automation strategy in alignment with business objectives.
• Own and govern CapEx governance, budgeting, monitoring, and reporting.
• Define the manufacturing automation and Smart Factory roadmaps across factories.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Operations and Finance teams.
