Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Law, Information Technology or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Internal Audit, Compliance, Risk Management, or Financial Crime in financial services, with AML/CFT exposure.
• Relevant professional certification preferred (e.g., CAMS, ICA, CIA, CISA, CPA, ACCA).
• Knowledge of German and European AML regulatory requirements applicable to financial institutions.
• Understanding of AML governance, financial crime risk management, and regulatory compliance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Perform audit work using the division's audit methodology to identify and evaluate risk, determine control objectives and verify the extent to which client control techniques meet objectives.
• Obtain and analyze evidentiary data to draft an informed, objective opinion on the adequacy and effectiveness of controls.
• Review and appraise corrective actions taken to improve deficient conditions.
• Ensure audits are completed in compliance with Corporate Audit Department and Institute of Internal Auditor standards; prepare work papers, use data analytics, analyze root causes, draft audit results.
• Maintain knowledge of audit industry practices and ensure best practices are considered.

What you will be responsible for

Education & Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of German and European AML/CFT regulatory requirements applicable to financial institutions.
• Understanding of AML governance, financial crime risk management, and regulatory compliance frameworks.

Additional requirements

• Travel up to 15% may be required.

Minimum Salary

zł132,000 Annual

The minimum salary quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate ultimately works outside of this primary location, the applicable minimum salary may differ. Salary will be determined based on factors such as the position, type of work performed, individual skills, job description, working hours, diligence, initiative, self-management, length of employment, availability, and the quantity and quality of work delivered, as well as other objective and non-discriminatory criteria relevant to State Street employees. In addition to salary, employees are eligible to be considered for discretionary annual performance-based awards.
