Job summary

Welo Data is seeking a detail-oriented freelance audio transcription reviewer to verify word-level segments and timestamps for training data in speech-to-speech AI models. This role is remote from India, with a pilot engagement and a rate of USD 4.55 per hour, about 30 hours per week.

You will listen to short clips, ensure boundaries align with speech, flag unusable audio, and apply a strict style guide. English fluency and prior labeling experience are preferred; ability to work independently

Qualifications

• English fluency, including strong command of spoken/colloquial forms.
• Prior experience with audio transcription, data annotation, or speech/NLP data labeling preferred.
• Comfortable using annotation/labeling tools.
• Ability to reference and apply a detailed style guide consistently.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to periodic guideline updates.

• Identify and flag tasks for discard per defined criteria (unintelligible audio, non-target language, sensitive content, no voice activity, etc.)
