Job summary

London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) seeks a Research Analyst for World-Check to support Know Your Customer compliance by researching reputable sources and identifying financial crime risks. The role emphasizes language skills, analytical thinking, and a journalistic approach to verify and compile information from public sources.

Daily tasks include gathering data from media and regulatory sources, staying current with AML/KYC guidelines, and collaborating with global teams.

Qualifications

Proficiency in English and at least one CIS language.
Critical thinking, analytical skills and attention to details.
Strong organization and multi-tasking abilities.
Very good use of Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Research reputable media, government, regulatory and law enforcement sources to build and maintain data in LSEG applications.
Using open-source research methods to capture information in the public domain.
Identify regulatory and financial risks such as money laundering, fraud, organized crime, narcotics trafficking, and corruption.
Becoming familiar and staying up to date with guidelines and regulations to ensure accuracy and high quality of delivered work.
Collaboration with globally based teams on shared projects.
