Position Purpose:

As a Associate Product Manager, you will be an integral part of our growing eCommerce organization and support the functional analysis and delivery of our Commerce Services platform.

Throughout delivery, you will provide functional clarification to development and QA teams, support defect analysis, validate delivered functionality against agreed requirements, and assist with business acceptance activities.

Working within the product direction and priorities established by the Product Owner, you will act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders. Your focus will be on requirements quality, functional clarity, visual documentation, traceability, and effective Scrum delivery.

Requirements:

  • High proficiency in technical writing, with the ability to produce clear, precise, and development-ready requirements
  • Experience working within cross-functional Scrum teams and collaborating with Product Owners, engineers, architects, QA specialists, UX specialists, and business stakeholders
  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into detailed user stories, functional requirements, business rules, process flows, and clear acceptance criteria
  • Basic working knowledge of Java, JavaScript, or Python and working knowledge of relational databases and SQL, with familiarity with NoSQL databases; previous hands-on development experience is a plus
  • Ability to understand solutions from a high-level architectural and system-integration perspective; technical or engineering background preferred
  • Strong ability to create and maintain system diagrams, process flows, sequence diagrams, flowcharts, data flows, and logical models
  • Ability to analyze ambiguous business needs and create structured requirements from an early or unclear starting point
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms and understanding of core commerce capabilities, including catalog, pricing, cart, checkout, orders, promotions, and integrations; Automotive-industry experience is preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of Jira, including story creation, backlog refinement, estimation support, reporting, and workflow management
  • Understanding of microservices architecture, API-based integrations, API versioning, and release processes, including REST and OpenAPI; GraphQL is a plus
  • Experience identifying requirement gaps, dependencies, edge cases, data requirements, and non-functional requirements
