Skills/Qualifications
1) a PhD in chemistry, obtained before the start date of employment,
2) significant scientific achievements (documented by publications from the JCR list),
3) experience in the design and synthesis of metal-organic frameworks (MOFs),
4) knowledge of MOF material characterisation techniques, including at least powder diffraction (PXRD), spectroscopic techniques (FT-IR, NMR, UV-vis), sorption techniques (in particular gas physisorption) and material imaging (optical microscopy, SEM, EDS).
5) knowledge of English at least at B2 level or equivalent,
6) creative approach to problem solving, ability to work in international and research teams, conscientiousness and communication skills, high motivation for scientific work,
7) ability to independently prepare manuscripts of scientific articles,
8) experience in managing a chemical laboratory,
Criteria that will be considered additional advantages:
- experience in designing and performing covalent post-synthetic modifications of MOFs,
- experience in mentoring students,
- a PhD in chemistry obtained no earlier than 12 years before the date of employment (required at the latest at the start of employment).
