Candidates should have a strong track record in structural research using X-ray and electron diffraction, teaching experience, and the ability to develop an independent program.

Qualifications

• The candidate has publications and conference experience in structural research using X-ray and electron diffraction.
• Ability to develop an independent research agenda in structure and crystallography of biologically significant compounds.
• Experience teaching crystallography at a university level.
• Proficiency in Polish and English (minimum B2).
• Experience preparing grant applications for research funding.
• Publications as first author and/or corresponding author.
• Active involvement in popularization of crystallography.
• Completion of a scientific internship.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research in structure, supramolecular chemistry and crystal engineering of nucleotides and phosphorus compounds; prepare publications and grant proposals; participate in conferences.
• Teach and assist in developing new teaching activities in crystallochemistry and X-ray structure analysis; supervise bachelor and master theses.
• Participate in faculty committees and promote university outreach; engage with socio-economic partners.
