Who we are looking for

Charles River Development is driving dramatic transformation across several different areas, including business strategy, to better position the company to continue thriving and growing in the exciting FinTech/ SaaS space. The CRD accounting team, including CRD Billing, sits at the forefront of many of these changes and plays a key role in helping the company manage through them.

The VP of CRD Billing will partner with the business operating teams and external clients to ensure billing is complete, accurate and timely. We are looking for a highly committed, technically sound and organized individual.

The role will involve understanding both financial & operational aspects of the business with the successful candidate being able to lead a Team of billers and provide mentoring and support.

What you will be responsible for

As VP of CRD Billing, you will:

  • Serve as direct manager of all billing areas including licensing, SaaS, PS, and other revenue streams, including detail reviewer of invoicing.
  • Assist with statutory annual audits, internal audit requirements and other assurance functions.
  • Work closely with business to ensure invoices are complete, accurate, and timely.
  • Ad hoc projects and other duties as assigned.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of business financial information in compliance with State Street policies and GAAP. - connect invoicing with revenue recognition treatment
  • Maintain a strong internal control environment.
  • Provide mentoring, support and oversight of key team members

  • Experience with MS Dynamics (Great Plains), Concur, OpenAir tools, all preferred
  • Working knowledge of SaaS industry
  • MS Office Products
