A global financial services firm is seeking a Trainee to support asset servicing operations in Poland. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience in financial operations. Responsibilities include process monitoring, data analysis, and assisting in Corporate Actions. This trainee professional role requires a solid foundation in operational processes, procedures, and systems within a dynamic financial services environment. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing critical asset servicing events, contributing to process enhancements, and upholding stringent risk control standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Applies a good knowledge of a wide range of specialized administrative/technical skills to monitor, analyze, and/or evaluate processes and data.
Develops a foundational understanding of underlying concepts and principles upon which asset servicing operations are based.
Manages the reconciliation and processing of positions specifically related to Corporate Action and Proxy events.
Executes routine operational tasks, including administering defined procedures, performing analyses, and preparing comprehensive reports.
Performs multiple transactions of moderate complexity, ensuring accuracy and timeliness that directly impacts team objectives.
Applies analytical thinking and utilizes data analysis tools to identify process improvements and support project implementation.
Interprets data to contribute to recommendations for process enhancements, new product/service launches, and platform upgrades.
Minimizes operational risk through strict adherence to procedural requirements, diligent error monitoring, and timely issue escalation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
A minimum of 2 years of related experience in a financial operations or asset servicing capacity.
Demonstrates basic executional capabilities and a proactive approach to taking on increased responsibilities.
Possesses knowledge of multiple investment instrument types, including Equity, Fixed Income, and Asset-Backed securities.
Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word, with a desired proficiency in Access.
Proven success as a collaborative and effective team player within a professional setting.
Ability to make evaluative judgments based on the analysis of factual information and resolve problems using technical experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying information concisely, logically, and respectfully.
