Job summary

Emerson is seeking an Asset Controller in Lodz to manage fixed assets throughout their lifecycle, ensuring accurate records, compliance with accounting standards, and support for reporting, budgeting, and investment activities. You will review CAPEX approvals, maintain asset registers, and reconcile GL accounts, applying tax and corporate requirements.

A Bachelor's degree and 3–5 years in finance, plus ERP and Excel proficiency, are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
3–5 years of experience in finance or accounting.
Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

Manage fixed assets lifecycle, including assets under construction.
Review CAPEX approval requests, ensuring budget and policy compliance.
Maintain fixed asset records and ensure high-quality financial data and reporting.
Ensure fixed asset accounting complies with standards, tax regulations and corporate requirements.
Support budgeting and forecasting related to depreciation expenses.
Participate in fixed asset inventories and asset audits across production areas.
Support investment projects, asset transfers, and annual financial statements.
Reconcile general ledger accounts and prepare reports for internal stakeholders.
