Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of experience in financial accounting with exposure to asset capitalisation, fixed assets and project accounting
• Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP related to PPE and capitalisation policies
• Ability to apply judgement in complex capitalisation decisions and communicate outcomes to stakeholders
• Experience in a large, multinational environment with high capex volume

Aufgaben

• Lead end-to-end asset capitalisation processes with accurate recognition of capex
• Partner with Commercial Finance and software development teams on capex vs opex decisions
• Oversee project accounting lifecycle including development assets, transfers and disposals
• Review capitalisation assessments and ensure robust audit trails
• Maintain integrity of the fixed asset register and perform month/year-end close activities
• Ensure IFRS/GAAP compliance and internal controls in capitalisation processes
• Lead audit engagements for fixed assets and capex, providing documentation for auditors
• Collaborate with Procurement and Project teams to strengthen capital governance
• Identify process improvements and automation opportunities across regions
• Provide leadership to junior team members on asset accounting principles
