Job summary

Capgemini Engineering seeks an Asset Analytics Engineer focused on Smart Signal and Predictive Modelling to deploy predictive models across industrial asset fleets. You will transform raw historian data into high-fidelity digital twins that power reliability decisions using platforms like SmartSignal, Aspen Mtell, and AVEVA PRiSM.

You will map historian sources (PI, OPC, IP21) to standardized data models, develop analytic blueprints for pumps, motors, and transformers, and monitor performance

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data analytics, reliability engineering, or related fields with hands-on platform experience.
• Experience with SmartSignal, Aspen Mtell, or AVEVA PRiSM and blueprint/model review workflows.
• Strong Python (Pandas, NumPy) and SQL skills for data manipulation and querying CMMS/historian data.
• Familiarity with PI, OPC, IP21 historians and API data extraction tools like Postman.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end deployment of predictive models across industrial asset fleets.
• Map historian data sources to SmartSignal data model ensuring data lineage and quality.
• Develop reusable Analytic Blueprints for pumps, motors, transformers for scalable deployments.
• Monitor model performance using metrics and retrain after overhauls, tuning thresholds.
• Write Python scripts for data manipulation, feature engineering, and rule development.
