Job summary

GlobalLogic is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Core Compute team, leading ARM integration and re-architecting orchestration for multi-core processors. You will port Go and Perl code from x86 to ARM, adjust QEMU configurations, and optimize NUMA memory logic across the cloud platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with extensive cloud orchestration experience.
• Strong proficiency in Go and Perl; Perl is the primary language for our codebase.
• Deep knowledge of Linux OS internals, QEMU orchestration, and CPU flag management.

Responsibilities

• Port and upgrade existing x86 orchestration codebases to ensure ARM compatibility.
• Manage and update QEMU flag configurations and networking support for ARM.
• Evaluate and tune NUMA memory allocation logic in Python for performance.
• Perform initial code analysis to identify and refactor architecture-specific implementation
