We are currently seeking an experienced Area Supervisor to join our team in Poland. As Area Supervisor you will be responsible for managing daily operations based on KPIs, monitoring processes, optimizing resources, coordinating departments, implementing lean practices, and fostering team development and culture.
Responsibilities
- Fully responsible for the daily management and operations in the assigned areas based on specific KPI’s: Safety, Productivity, Quality, Cost.
- Real-time monitoring of all processes, promptly reporting and resolving on-site problems and equipment issues to ensure business runs smoothly.
- Implement and enhance warehouse operational processes and regulations to maintain high quality and efficiency standards.
- Allocate manpower and other resources based on business needs, optimizing operational efficiency and reducing costs.
- Responsible for communication and coordination across departments to ensure smooth operations and timely resolution of issues.
- Implement 6S practices and lean improvement initiatives, continuously optimizing operational processes.
- Responsible for team development, systematically cultivating and empowering team members.
- Foster a positive and healthy team culture to enhance team cohesion and effectiveness.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Fluent in English.
- Minimum of 5 years of warehouse operations experience, including at least 1 year of management experience.
- Experience managing medium to large-scale warehouses (600+ operators).
- Proficiency in warehouse operation processes, lean tools (6S, Kaizen, DMAIC), and cost management.
- Ability to predict and manage risks, improve safety mechanisms, and implement cost reduction strategies.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in team management and performance improvement.
- Ability to work alternate day and night shifts as required.
- Skilled in Excel, Word, PPT, and other office software.
- Familiar with WMS/TMS systems.
- Proficiency in 6S, Kaizen, or other lean tools to independently manage lean improvement projects within the warehouse.
- Identify and implement cost optimization strategies.
- Effective at motivating and managing team performance for continuous improvement.
