Job summary

IONWAY is seeking a production supervisor to oversee the timely execution of the production plan, ensuring quality, safety and efficiency. You will support SQDCMS-based operations, recruit and train staff, and manage OPEX/CAPEX budgets.

Additionally, you will participate in new line implementations, drive process improvements, and foster a culture of continuous improvement across the production team.

Qualifications

• Higher technical education or equivalent practical experience.
• Knowledge of production processes.
• Practical knowledge of Lean Management tools.
• Ability to manage a budget.
• Knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Familiarity with statistical tools (Six Sigma).
• English language proficiency (B2).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organizational abilities.
• Project management skills.
• Ability to identify and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise timely execution of the production plan with expected efficiency, quality and safety.
• Support team operations in line with SQDCMS principles (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Morale, and Sustainability).
• Ensure adequate staffing and competencies through recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training aligned with needs and the competency matrix.
• Manage the departmental budget (OPEX/CAPEX).
• Participate in implementing new production lines with Engineering and Process Control Departments; collaborate on improvements and new product introductions.
• Proactively initiate and implement optimization projects within the production area.
• Foster and support a culture of continuous improvement within the production team.
• Assist in identifying root causes of errors and implementing corrective actions.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure execution of the production plan and ongoing projects.
