Job summary

Svitla Systems, Inc. is seeking an AQA Engineer for a full-time hybrid role based in Kraków, Poland.

You will contribute to quality and automation foundations for a microservices-based system and collaborate with engineers and product teams to embed quality early in development. The role involves designing and maintaining automated UI and end-to-end tests, integrating tests into CI/CD with GitHub Actions, and applying AI-supported tooling to improve testing processes.

Qualifications

• Hands-on QA experience across frontend, backend and API testing.
• Experience with Playwright or Cypress (prefer Playwright+TS).
• Knowledge of applying AI tools to testing and SDLC optimization.
• Experience testing microservices-based systems.
• Knowledge of HTTP/RESTful APIs.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitHub Actions.
• Ability to quickly learn business requirements and domain.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate early in a cross-functional team with engineers, other QAs and business to influence requirements and define effective test strategies.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests for UI and end-to-end flows.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
• Actively apply AI-supported tools to improve test design, execution, and maintenance.
• Produce clear test reports and participate in test automation code reviews.
• Manage test cases and test cycles (Jira Zephyr).
