Job Purpose
As an APS IT Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing the APS (Advanced Planning & Scheduling) commercial solution (Quintiq Scheduler from Dassault Systemes) across Bridgestone EMEA manufacturing plants. You will join the BSEMEA IT Manufacturing team, which is responsible for implementing the Smart Factory program across BSEMEA plants. The BSEMEA Smart Factory program aims to enhance manufacturing plant performance through digitalization.
Responsibilities:
Technical requirements gathering, prepare technical specifications, configuration, testing and deployment of APS solution
Define, design and implement interface towards APS outside systems (ex. OMP or MES systems).
Participate in the design & implementation of Quintiq solution in the pilot plant & rest of the roll outs.
Work in a cross functional Smart Factory team to develop requirements to business needs following processes harmonization for all plants.
Become an integration expert between MES (Apriso) & APS (Quintiq) solutions.
As system expert provide inputs/recommendations on system level solutions to support business needs.
Commission of APS solution & oversee the decommissioning of legacy applications.
Provide expert knowledge and experience to estimate the technical effort required to implement complex APS solutions.
Be part of the Centre of Excellence cross functional team in charge of implementing APS solution across BSEMEA factories.
Support Centre of Excellence assuring Delivery strategy (practices as per defined governance) are respected
Qualifications & Experience Required
Education, Master, other certification:
Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineer or Economics/Business.
Certified experience in Quintiq software is considered a strong asset.
Lean certification or Six Sigma certification is a plus.
Experience (years):
+3 years of experience in the Manufacturing domain (technical) implementing APS solutions.
Experience as a developer in BS IT manufacturing department is a plus
Experience in working in cross functional teams for multi-site implementations.
Experience in MES-APS Integration projects & knowledge of ISA-95, UNS is considered an advantage.
Technical/ Functional experience of Dassault Systemes (Quintiq) is considered a strong asset.
Technical Skills:
Expertise in design, implementation, installation and configuration of APS (preferred: Quintiq).
Good understanding of relational Oracle Databases.
Ability to develop Power BI reports is a plus.
Languages Skills:
English as a business language.
Knowledge of other European languages as Spanish, Italian, Polish or Hungarian is an asset.
Soft/Behavioral Skills:
Ability to work in cross-functional teams to understand and analyze complex business problems to translate them into IT system requirements.
