Job summary

Infotree Global Solutions Inc. is seeking an AppOps Specialist / Application Administrator to lead the data center migration of core payment card acceptance and issuing applications. The role requires hands-on technical skills, infrastructure understanding, and coordination with cross-border teams.

You will configure and maintain payment processing applications, support BAU transitions, monitor performance, and resolve complex incidents to ensure continuous operation across multiple environments.

Qualifications

• Experience with database scripting using PL/SQL and/or T-SQL.
• Proficiency in at least two scripting languages (Perl, PowerShell, Shell, Bash, Python).
• Solid understanding of infrastructure, networks, load balancing, and TLS encryption.
• Experience with high-volume, semi-real-time transaction systems.

Responsibilities

• Drive DC migration: build, test, and migrate applications to new data centers.
• Coordinate infrastructure: manage build requests, configuration changes and access.
• Identify and resolve blockers to migration.
• Produce and maintain live technical documentation in Confluence.
• Collaborate with PMs, global tech teams, external vendors, and SMEs.

Position Summary

The main objective of this role is to act as an AppOps Specialist within a critical data center migration program. The successful candidate will oversee and execute the migration of core application systems supporting payment card acceptance (acquiring) and card issuing business processes.

These environments run critical, semi-real-time business functions (including transaction authorization) built both locally and by external vendors. The role requires a strong blend of hands‑on technical skills, infrastructure understanding, and the ability to drive migration actions alongside project managers and cross‑border technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

Migration & Project Delivery

• Execute DC Migration: Drive subsequent actions for building, testing, and migrating applications to new data center environments.

• Infrastructure Coordination: Prepare, place, and track infrastructure build requests, configuration changes, and access permissions.

• Blocker Resolution: Proactively identify and address technical or process blockers on the road to migration.

• Documentation: Produce and maintain high‑quality, live technical documentation within Confluence.

• Cross‑Team Collaboration: Cooperate closely with Project Managers (PMs), global technical groups, external vendor support, and international Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).

Application Operations & Maintenance (AppOps)

• App Administration: Configure, maintain, and administer payment card issuing and transaction acquiring applications.

• BAU Alignment: Work hand‑in‑hand with the FTS Application & Middleware Team during Business‑As‑Usual (BAU) transition phases.

• Deployment & Changes: Verify, test, and implement application changes and releases delivered to the production environments.

• Monitoring & Performance: Monitor application environments to ensure high reliability, performance, and correct operations.

• Incident Management: Provide 3rd level system support by diagnosing and solving complex technical incidents and problems to maintain continuous operation.

Qualifications & Technical Requirements

Hard Skills

• Database Scripting: Efficient and advanced use of PL/SQL and/or T‑SQL.

• Automation & Scripting: Proficient in at least two of the following: Perl, PowerShell, Shell, Bash, Python.

• Infrastructure & Networking: Solid understanding of infrastructure aspects, network solutions, load‑balancing (LB), and TLS encryption.

• High‑Volume Systems: Strong understanding of availability, resilience, and performance aspects for semi‑real‑time online transaction systems and mass processing environments.

Experience

• Migration Track Record: Proven experience working in similar roles dedicated to application migrations (ideally data center to data center).

• Domain Knowledge: Previous experience with fintech, banking, or payment processing systems (authorizations, clearing, card management) is highly desirable.

• Corporate Environment: Experience in working within global organizations with distributed technical teams.
