Job summary

Akamai is seeking an experienced application penetration tester to join its Product Security Penetration Testing team in Poland. You will identify vulnerabilities across web, mobile, client, cloud and network domains and help remediation efforts.

You will lead testing efforts, develop tools as needed, and collaborate with global security experts to strengthen Akamai products and secure feeds for billions of users.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and performing penetration tests and/or red team engagements.
• Experience testing web, mobile, client, cloud and networks.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language.
• Knowledge of common vulnerabilities, attack vectors and frameworks.
• Ability to remediate vulnerabilities and propose custom solutions based on architecture.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with security and product teams to identify testing targets and scopes.
• Perform white-box penetration testing on Akamai products.
• Re-test known vulnerabilities to verify fixes.
• Develop custom testing tools as needed.
• Coordinate remediation with internal teams and support bug bounty programs.
