Job summary

DCG Poland in Warsaw is seeking an Application Security Coordinator to manage vulnerability remediation and security governance across systems. You will coordinate remediation with development, infrastructure and security teams, review reports, and drive prioritised actions.

The role requires 5+ years in application security, strong risk assessment skills, and fluency in English. Knowledge of CVE/CWE/CVSS and Jira usage is essential for effective reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in application security or related field.
• Strong understanding of application and infrastructure security and vulnerability management.
• Experience with penetration testing reports and vulnerability scan outputs.
• Ability to assess security risks and prioritise remediation work.
• Knowledge of CVE, CWE and CVSS standards.
• Excellent stakeholder coordination and communication skills.
• Experience driving remediation in a structured, organised way.
• Able to explain complex security topics to diverse audiences.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate outcomes from penetration tests and vulnerability scans.
• Review and interpret security findings from technical reports.
• Assess vulnerabilities, evaluate risk and prioritise remediation activities.
• Drive remediation actions with development, infrastructure and security teams.
• Track progress, follow up on open findings and ensure timely resolution.
• Establish governance, reporting and visibility around vulnerability landscape.
• Communicate security risks clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Support compliance with internal security standards and external regulations.
• Work with Jira to manage, track and report remediation activities.
