Job summary

Starburst is looking for a Security Engineer focused on Application and Product Security. In this role, you will improve the security posture of applications and services by integrating security into the software development lifecycle.

You will work closely with engineering teams, conduct secure code reviews, deploy security tools, and support incident response. Located in Warsaw, this position follows a hybrid model requiring onsite presence 1-2 days a week. Join us to help secure our innovative technologies!

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in application security or related role.
• Strong understanding of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Responsibilities

• Integrate application security best practices into the development lifecycle.
• Support and maintain application security tooling.
• Conduct secure code reviews and threat modeling sessions.
