Job summary

Job Description

This is a remote position.

Overview :

• API Strategy & Middleware Architecture
• Implement scalable API solutions using the Google Cloud Apigee platform.
• Design robust middleware integration patterns leveraging Java and Spring Boot.
• Enforce API security, traffic management, rate limiting, and caching policies.

Project Execution

• Translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications.
• Oversee code quality through rigorous code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD practices.
• Mentor developers, remove technical roadblocks, and ensure optimal task allocation.

Required Technical SkillsAPI Management & Middleware

• Advanced experience configuring and managing Apigee API Gateway (Edge or X).
• Deep understanding of Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) concepts and middleware patterns.
• Mastery of RESTful APIs, SOAP, JSON, and security protocols (OAuth2, OIDC, TLS).

Core Development

• Expert-level proficiency with the Spring Boot ecosystem (Spring Cloud, Spring Security, Spring Data).
• Strong background in database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).

DevOps & CloudExperience containerizing applications using Docker and Kubernetes.

• Proven track record building CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions).

Experience & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: 6 to 9 years in software engineering, with at least 2+ years in a Technical Lead role.
• Track Record: Proven success delivering enterprise integration projects with heavy traffic.
