AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking an Android Tech Lead to drive architectural direction for a new Android experience. You will mentor engineers, set best practices, and steer critical decisions across the mobile stack while collaborating with backend and design teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field must be completed.
• 7+ years of Android development experience with lead/principal exposure.
• Proficiency in Kotlin, Coroutines and Flow is required.
• Experience defining mobile architecture for large-scale apps is essential.
• Experience with GCP interactions or mobile-backend integration strategies.
• Ability to drive technical consensus and mentor senior engineers.
• Experience writing and maintaining extensive unit and UI tests.

Responsibilities

• Establish architectural patterns and best practices for a new Android implementation.
• Mentor engineers, onboarding new team members to reduce ramp-up time.
• Architect complex Android solutions with deep knowledge of Android and networking.
• Lead mobile architecture decisions and integration strategies within the vertical team.
• Collaborate with Distinguished Engineers to align with established standards.
• Oversee implementation of the design system across the Android codebase.
