Eligibility Criteria (listed in order of importance):
The competition is open to individuals who meet the requirements specified in Art. 113 of the Act of 20 July 2018 - The Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws of 2024, item 1571, as amended) and meet the following qualification criteria:
- A completed Master’s degree in biology, with a particular focus on forensic biology or related disciplines, with a grade of at least 'good plus'.
- Qualifications in forensic science or criminology.
- Proficiency in English at B2 level, confirmed by a supplement or certificate
- Experience in conducting teaching classes in Polish.
- Experience in preparing research project proposals.
- Documented professional experience in the form of training, courses and overseas research internships in the field of genetics and molecular biology.
- Proficiency in using MS Office software and analysing statistical data.
- Experience in organisational activities within the scientific and educational fields.
Specific Requirements
Additional criteria (listed in order of importance):
- A record of publications in the field of molecular genetics, forensic biology or the organism species identification using DNA analysis methods, including publications in journals indexed in the JCR database, documented by a list of publications, points awarded in accordance with the Ministry of Science and Higher Education (MNiSW) list, and the Impact Factor (IF).
- Experience in conducting teaching classes in Polish.
- Experience in preparing research project proposals.
- Documented professional experience in the form of training, courses and overseas research internships in the field of genetics and molecular biology.
- Proficiency in using MS Office software and analysing statistical data.
- Experience in organisational activities within the scientific and educational fields
- Stable employment based on an employment contract at a well-established institution,
- Scientific support and opportunities for qualification improvement and professional development,

- The expected date of the competition results is November, 2026.
- The planned start date is December , 2026.
- Incomplete applications will not be considered.
- Copies of documents should be notarized or submitted directly to the University of Life Sciences in Lublin with the original available for inspection.
- Documents issued in a foreign language should be translated into Polish.
- The University reserves the right to contact selected candidates, who will be informed by phone or email about the next stages of the competition.
