Job summary

State Street in Kraków seeks a versatile Data Operations Specialist with data analysis skills to help build and sustain client data capabilities using Alpha services. The role supports global clients and closely collaborates with teams in Boston, Hangzhou and Bangalore.

You will deliver high-quality data on time, perform root cause analysis, assist in testing prior to go-live, and contribute to product enhancements while aligning with global processes and best practices.

Qualifications

• University degree in data-related field and 2–3 years in financial data services

Who We Are Looking For

The State Street’s AlphaSM Data team is seeking versatile Data Operations Specialist with data analysis skills to help us build and sustain our client’s data capabilities and competitive advantage using the Alpha services and product offerings. The successful candidate has experience in data operations management, collaboration as well as communication and technical skills that enable process optimization and automation. This role is part of broader Alpha Data Operations that supports clients globally and is working closely with our colleagues in Boston, Hangzhou and Bangalore.

What You Will Be Responsible For

As Alpha Data Operations Specialist you will

• Support data operations, make sure the data is delivered to clients on time and is of good quality. See that metrics are being produced accurately on a daily basis
• Conduct root cause analysis of data issues
• Support internal and client testing activities prior to “go live” date and immediate post-production transition with the support of test plan development and test scripts
• As part of the wider team, add an input on overall Alpha Data product enhancements and requirements
• Collaborate with Alpha Data Implementation, Service Management and IT teams to share best practices, raise issues, develop consistent global processes

• Industry knowledge, experience in Middle Office Operations, Transaction Management, Corporate Actions, Derivatives, Performance & Analytics, etc. will be an advantage

Education & Preferred Qualifications

• University degree in Data Management, Finance, Business or equivalent
• Typically 2 – 3 years of industry experience across Financial Services or Data fields
• Knowledge of Bloomberg and/or other market data vendors (nice to have)
• Knowledge of financial instruments from static data perspective (nice to have)
• Working experience with SQL (nice to have)
• Good numerical and analytical abilities
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong team ethics and team player
• Good communication and English language skills (both written and verbal)

Note: The role requires a minimum of three days per week working from the office.

Minimum Salary:

zł68,004 Annual

The minimum salary quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate ultimately works outside of this primary location, the applicable minimum salary may differ.

Salary will be determined based on factors such as the position, type of work performed, individual skills, job description, working hours, diligence, initiative, self‑management, length of employment, availability, and the quantity and quality of work delivered, as well as other objective and non‑discriminatory criteria relevant to State Street employees.

In addition to salary, employees are eligible to be considered for discretionary annual performance‑based awards.
