Job summary

KK Group in Kraków, Poland seeks a PLM Engineer to ensure stable operation, administration, and continuous development of the Windchill PLM ecosystem. You will collaborate with cross-functional and international teams to influence the PLM landscape's evolution.

The role requires hands-on ALM/PLM administration, 2nd/3rd line support, and the ability to implement upgrades, patches, and health checks in line with vendor recommendations and IT standards.

Responsibilities

• Configure Codebeamer to support Requirements, Test and Risk Management.
• Collaborate with ALM Architects on templates, item types, workflows.
• Manage access, roles, security groups, and licenses.
• Maintain runbooks and user guidelines.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of ALM processes.
• Collaborate with IT/Engineering/Business in global ALM/PLM program.

Job description

As a PLM Engineer, you will be responsible for the stable operation, administration, and continuous development of the Windchill PLM platform. This position requires close collaboration with cross‑functional and international teams and offers the opportunity to influence the future evolution of the PLM landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Own the day to day administration, maintenance, and operational stability of the Codebeamer ALM platform, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Act as 2nd/3rd line support for ALM related incidents, service requests, and functional issues raised via the PLM Support channels.
• Perform system upgrades, patching, configuration changes, and platform health checks in line with vendor recommendations and internal IT standards.
• Monitor system logs, performance metrics, and storage usage; proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Configure and maintain Codebeamer platform to support Requirements, Test and Risk Management processes.
• Work with ALM Architects to implement and maintain standard templates, item types, and workflow models to support global ALM enrollment.
• Manage access requests, role assignment, security groups, and license allocation
• Maintain and update support documentation, user guidelines, and operational runbooks.
• Participate in continuous improvement of ALM processes, standards, and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Engineering, Business) in global ALM/PLM programme.

Your profile

• Experience in administration and operational support of ALM tools, preferably Codebeamer or similar ALM/PLM platforms.
• Hands‑on experience with system maintenance, configuration, upgrades, patching, and platform health monitoring.
• Experience working as 2nd/3rd line support for application‑related incidents and service requests.
• Good understanding of Requirements Management, Test Management, and Risk Management processes.
• Ability to monitor system logs, performance metrics, and storage usage and proactively resolve issues.
• Experience with user access management, roles, security groups, and license allocation.
• Experience working with standard templates, workflows, item types, and configuration models.
• Ability to create and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and operational runbooks.
• Experience working in a global, cross‑functional IT / Engineering / Business environment.
