Job summary

Hitachi Energy Services SP. z o.o. is seeking a Vendor & Ecosystem Specialist within its Innovation-as-a-Service function to scout, evaluate, and manage external vendors, technology partners, and startups across AI and emerging technologies.

You will build structured vendor intelligence, create capability summaries and ecosystem maps, and act as the central liaison for vendor opportunities, coordinating with Hitachi Group entities to accelerate innovation.

Qualifications

• At least three years of vendor management or ecosystem experience.
• Strong knowledge of AI, data, and emerging digital technologies.
• Experience with RFIs and vendor landscape mapping.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Scout and evaluate vendors, technology partners, and startups across AI and other emerging technologies.
• Maintain a structured vendor intelligence repository with current capability assessments and landscape maps.
• Act as the central Innovation-as-a-Service contact for vendors, technology partners and startups.
• Coordinate with Hitachi Group entities to identify opportunities and facilitate introductions.
• Scout startups to assess fit with Hitachi Energy’s priorities and prepare briefing presentations.
• Produce capability summaries, comparison matrices and ecosystem maps for internal use.
• Create and maintain vendor/startup repositories and landscapes for internal reuse.
• Contribute vendor landscape information to recommendation packages and support solution assessments.
• Collaborate with architecture teams to provide current vendor landscape for solution assessments.
• Monitor the internal application landscape to promote reuse of existing capabilities.
