Job summary

Tenstorrent is seeking a Software Engineering Intern for Training, Models, and Kernels/Ops in Summer 2027. You will work on distributed training workflows, model optimization, and high-performance kernel development on Tenstorrent hardware in an on-site setting.

The role targets students pursuing BS/MS/PhD in CS/CE or related fields, with strong Python and C++ skills, Linux experience, and a keen interest in ML workloads and accelerator software.

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS, MS, or PhD in CS/CE or related field.
• Comfortable programming in Python and C++, Linux development environment.
• Grounded in data structures, algorithms, and systems fundamentals.
• Familiar with ML workloads and accelerator hardware concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develops and profiles ML training/workflow pipelines across multi-device systems.
• Optimizes models (LLMs, vision models) for Tenstorrent hardware.
• Develops high-performance kernels and related ops for accelerator execution.
