Job summary

project44 is seeking a Prompt Engineer for its AIA Operations group. You will design and govern AI agent workflows, collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Operations, and drive scalable, repeatable improvements across regions.

Office-based role with a focus on operational excellence, AI fluency, and disciplined experimentation. Base salary PLN 174,500–PLN 216,000 per year, with on-site four days a week West Europe time zone alignment.

Qualifications

• 3-4+ years in transportation operations, logistics tech or carrier management.
• Hands-on with AI tools, automation platforms, or workflow tech in operations.
• Troubleshooting across EDI, API, data pipelines and workflow orchestration.
• Strong analytical skills with dashboards and data to diagnose problems.
• Able to collaborate with Product, Engineering, AI, and Operations stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain AI agent workflows for carrier monitoring and escalation processes.
• Create customer-specific AI agent workflows for carriers, lanes, or accounts.
• Write, test, and optimise prompts for large language models; iterate based on results.
• Run structured tests to evaluate prompt performance and document outcomes.
• Track prompt versions and decisions; document reasoning behind designs.
• Diagnose issues where model outputs fall short and refine prompts.
• Collaborate with engineers during handover and deployment to go-live.
• Expand use cases post-launch and refine prompts with real-world volume increases.
• Monitor agent performance and address drift or failure modes over time.
• Maintain production workflows with updates as data/models evolve.
• Evaluate new AI tools and provide adoption recommendations.
