Jobtailor in Warsaw seeks a Python developer to design and build AI agents for business-process automation. You will work with business stakeholders to translate requirements into practical AI-assisted workflows, handling data extraction from Excel files, mapping to common models, and integrating with enterprise systems.

The role emphasizes deterministic processing alongside LLM-based interpretation, with a focus on data quality, validation, and robust error handling.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of commercial Python development experience.
• Experience building AI/LLM-powered applications or AI agents.
• Experience with prompt engineering and structured LLM outputs.
• Experience integrating LLMs via APIs or enterprise AI platforms.
• Strong experience processing data from Excel files using Python.
• Experience with pandas, openpyxl, Polars, or similar tools.
• Ability to analyze and normalize data from files with inconsistent schemas, column names, layouts, and data formats.
• Experience designing data extraction, transformation, mapping, and validation pipelines.
• Understanding of when to use deterministic rules, traditional data processing, or LLM-based interpretation.
• Experience with REST APIs and enterprise-system integrations.
• Ability to implement validation, exception handling, logging, and traceability
• Understanding of enterprise security, access control, and sensitive-data handling
• Ability to communicate with business users, clarify requirements, and convert operational processes into technical solutions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate in English with international stakeholders
• Availability for occasional on-site meetings or workshops if required

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Python-based AI agents for business-process automation.
• Work with stakeholders to understand processes, data sources, outputs, and rules.
• Translate business needs into AI-assisted workflows.
• Build agent logic, prompts, validation steps, and supporting Python services.
• Process and normalize structured and semi-structured data.
• Extract information from Excel files with different structures.
• Map heterogeneous Excel data into a common target model.
• Combine deterministic processing with LLM-based interpretation.
• Integrate AI agents with enterprise applications, data sources, and APIs.
• Implement data-quality checks, validation, logging, error handling, and human-review steps.
• Test agents against business scenarios and improve reliability.
• Work within approved AI framework, security rules, and constraints.
• Support deployment, documentation, knowledge transfer, and initial production adoption.
• Communicate progress, risks, and technical limitations clearly to stakeholders
