Job summary

ScyllaDB, via Scylla Cloud, seeks a driven Full-Stack Software Engineer to own cloud features end-to-end—from design and architecture to deployment, testing and production support—on a high-performance DBaaS platform.

You will leverage AI tools to accelerate coding, build scalable APIs and UI with React and Go/Node.js, and collaborate with product and UX teams to deliver reliable, secure cloud services globally.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with AI coding tools to accelerate development.
• Strong practical experience in frontend and backend technologies (React, Go/Node.js/Python/Java).
• Familiarity with major public cloud platforms and relational/NoSQL databases.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication; able to document solutions clearly.
• Autonomous, ownership-driven approach to research, troubleshooting, and production delivery.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Feature Ownership: Own cloud features complete end-to-end, including backend services, frontend user interfaces, database schema design, automated testing, CI/CD deployment, and post-release support.
• AI-Accelerated Development: Utilize AI coding assistants and AI-driven workflows to design, code, debug, and deliver robust software at high velocity.
• Frontend & Backend Engineering: Build and maintain scalable APIs and responsive, intuitive user interfaces (React, Go / Node.js).
• Database & Infrastructure: Work with SQL/NoSQL databases and public cloud provider services to ensure high availability and optimal performance.
• Quality & Automated Testing: Design, write, and execute comprehensive test suites (unit, integration, and E2E).
• Production Support & Reliability: Monitor, troubleshoot, and support delivered features in cloud environments.
• Product & UX Collaboration: Work closely with Product and UX teams to rapidly turn concepts into seamless customer experiences.
