Commerzbank AG in Poland is seeking an AI Model Governance and Validation Specialist (m/f/d) to strengthen the second line of defense in model risk and AI governance. You will contribute to governance, validation, and reporting across AI/ML models in a regulated banking context.

The Model Risk Management (MRM) team within Enterprise Risk Management is responsible for establishing governance and controls to manage risks arising from the use of models across Commerzbank. Our mission is to ensure confidence in the models that support business decision-making, identify and mitigate model-related risks, and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
As the second line of defense for model risk and AI governance, MRM defines and maintains model risk management standards, performs independent model validations, and leads the Bank’s AI governance framework.
The MRM team is responsible for managing and reporting model risks across all model families, ranging from established financial and risk models to emerging AI and machine learning solutions. In this role, you will help strengthen the Bank’s capabilities in the governance, control, and validation of AI/ML models, contributing to a robust, risk-based approach that fosters trust in Commerzbank’s rapidly expanding AI landscape.
