Job summary

CD PROJEKT RED in Warsaw seeks a Senior AI Engineer to deliver ML-based solutions, spanning LLM-powered workflows, Python services, and cloud infrastructure. You will work with internal teams to translate user needs into end-to-end technical implementations, leveraging data, tools, and APIs.

You will integrate with Google Workspace, Jira, Confluence, Unreal Engine, and code repositories, while pursuing innovative AI techniques to solve business challenges.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience developing software with Python, including services, APIs, integrations, data workflows, or serverless solutions.
• 2+ years of practical experience with GCP and LLM-aware development (prompt engineering, agentic workflows, RAGs).
• Experience integrating APIs, third-party tools, business applications, data platforms, or document repositories.
• Ability to work autonomously and turn ideas into maintainable solutions.
• Fluency in Polish and English; curiosity and research orientation.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical delivery of internal machine learning automation projects from design to deployment and improvement.
• Design and configure LLM-powered workflows using prompts, tools, APIs, MCPs, business rules, and knowledge sources.
• Integrate agentic AI tools with Google Workspace, Jira, Confluence, and codebases (GitLab, Perforce) via APIs and MCPs.
• Build and maintain scalable software solutions using Python and cloud technologies.
• Establish testing, observability, documentation, security, and reliability practices.
• Explore new AI/ML techniques and translate promising approaches into practical business solutions.

CD PROJEKT RED is looking for a Senior AI Engineer who will connect user’s needs with the right data, technologies, and engineering approaches to deliver useful, reliable, machine learning-based solutions. Working with other members of your own team, plus internal business teams and development teams, you will turn these opportunities into end-to-end technical solutions. This work will span LLM-powered workflows, Python services, third-party automation tools, data integrations, and cloud infrastructure. You’ll combine production engineering with research into emerging approaches to knowledge management, context engineering, and AI-assisted problem solving.

• Own the technical delivery of internal machine learning automation projects, from solution design through deployment and continuous improvement.
• Design and configure LLM-powered workflows using prompts, tools, APIs, MCPs, business rules, knowledge sources, and third-party automation platforms.
• Integrate agentic AI tools with Google Workspace, Jira, Confluence, technical documentation and project-knowledge repositories, business process management tools, GitLab and Perforce codebases, bug-management software, and Unreal Engine through APIs and MCPs.
• Build and maintain scalable software solutions using Python and cloud technologies.
• Establish appropriate practices for testing, evaluation, observability, documentation, security, and reliability.
• Explore emerging AI and ML techniques, prototype promising approaches, and translate them into practical business solutions.

• 7+ years of professional experience developing software with Python, including services, APIs, integrations, data workflows, or serverless solutions.
• Proven experience delivering end-to-end software systems, including backend development, data repositories, and basic frontend components.
• 2+ years of practical experience with GCP is required; Experience developing applications with LLM, including prompt engineering, agentic workflows, RAGs, knowledge management, and context engineering.
• Experience integrating APIs, third-party automation tools, business applications, data platforms, or document repositories.
• Ability to work autonomously, take ownership of ambiguous problems, and turn ideas into maintainable solutions.
• Curious and research-oriented, with strong communication skills and fluency in Polish and English.
