Sii Poland is looking for an AI Engineer to join our team in Warsaw. You will shape AI-enabled software engineering practices and implement AI-driven workflows across the SDLC, collaborating with software teams to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency.

The role combines software engineering, automation, and Generative AI, turning PoCs into scalable solutions in real-world engineering environments. Willingness to commute 2–3 days a week to the office is required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering or DevOps experience.
• Strong Python, API and microservices knowledge.
• Hands-on Git, CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes.
• Proven ability to move PoC to industrialized solutions.
• Fluent Polish and English; experience in international environments.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to augment SDLC activities using AI.
• Design and implementing AI-enabled workflows across the IT Value Chain.
• Measure and track productivity improvements and adoption KPIs.
• Implement AI-assisted coding solutions and integrate coding agents into developer workflows.
• Support code generation, code review, refactoring, and documentation automation.
• Define engineering guardrails and governance for AI-assisted development.
• Evaluate emergent AI tools and frameworks and conduct PoCs.
• Drive the industrialization of successful experiments.
• Coach engineering teams on AI adoption.

Job description

We are looking for an AI Engineer to join our team and help shape the future of software engineering through the practical use of Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI.

In this role, you will work closely with software engineering teams to identify opportunities where AI can improve productivity, software quality, and operational efficiency across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). You will design, implement, and scale AI-powered solutions that support developers across activities such as coding, testing, code review, documentation, and DevSecOps.

This is a hands‑on engineering role for someone who enjoys combining software engineering, automation, and Generative AI and turning innovative ideas and PoCs into scalable solutions used in real-world engineering environments.

Your tasks

• Identifying opportunities to augment SDLC activities using AI
• Designing and implementing AI-enabled workflows across the IT Value Chain
• Measuring and tracking productivity improvements and adoption KPIs
• Implementing AI-assisted coding solutions and integrating coding agents into developer workflows
• Supporting code generation, code review, refactoring, and documentation automation
• Defining engineering guardrails and governance for AI-assisted development
• Evaluating emerging AI tools and frameworks and conducting Proofs of Concept (PoCs)
• Driving the industrialization of successful experiments
• Coaching engineering teams on AI adoption

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in software engineering or DevOps
• Expertise in Python, APIs, and microservices architecture
• Hands‑on experience with Git, CI/CD, and DevOps practices
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes
• Proven ability to deliver automation solutions and move from PoC to industrialized solutions
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and critical thinking skills
• Fluent Polish and English communication skills and experience working in an international environment
• Willingness to commute to the office in Warsaw 2 - 3 days a week
