Overview

You will join Asana’s RevTech team as an AI Engineer focusing on enhancing AI capabilities across customer-facing platforms and initiatives that improve service quality, user satisfaction, and self-service efficiency. In this role, you will design, build, and operationalize AI-driven solutions that enhance enterprise systems and improve overall business outcomes—with a strong focus on delivering intelligent, customer-centric experiences. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across technology, customer success, and support operations, helping bring the latest AI advancements—including retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), agentic workflows, smart summarization, and embedding-based search—into scalable, real-world applications. This role is ideal for candidates passionate about applying AI to solve meaningful business challenges and create seamless user experiences. This role is based in our Warsaw office with an office-centric hybrid schedule—in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.

Responsibilities

• Design and Develop AI Solutions: Build intelligent, scalable AI systems across a range of enterprise and customer-facing applications.
• Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG): Develop RAG pipelines to enhance contextual understanding and information retrieval.
• Prompt Engineering and Optimization: Craft effective prompts to guide large language models (LLMs) for business-critical workflows.
• Embedding Generation and Vector Search: Create embeddings and manage vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate) to power semantic search and personalized content delivery.
• Conversational Summarization: Develop summarization models for chat transcripts, customer interactions, or other business conversations.
• Support AI-Driven Business Goals: Contribute to initiatives aimed at improving key success metrics such as customer satisfaction, resolution times, and self-service adoption.
• Testing and Validation: Develop AI-specific test frameworks and performance evaluation methodologies.

About You

• 5+ years of experience designing, building, and deploying AI-driven or intelligent systems in enterprise environments.
• At least 1+ year of hands-on experience with Generative AI technologies such as Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and prompt engineering.
• Strong experience building AI-driven applications, especially customer-facing or enterprise-integrated solutions.
• Experience with RAG development libraries such as LangChain.
• Proficiency in Python and modern ML/AI frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Experience integrating AI systems with APIs, databases, or enterprise platforms.
• Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP for AI deployments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with data privacy, security, and governance practices for AI.
• Demonstrated curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies, with a willingness to learn and leverage them to enhance productivity, collaboration, or decision-making.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to conversational AI platforms or customer experience automation.
• Knowledge of agentic workflows and orchestration frameworks (e.g., Workato, SnapLogic).
• Experience in measuring the business impact of AI solutions on KPIs like CSAT or NPS.
• Background in building AI solutions for enterprise customer portals, support systems, or CRM-integrated workflows.

For this role, the estimated base salary range is between 26,417 - 30,000 PLN gross monthly on the contract of employment (UoP). The actual base salary will vary based on various factors and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base compensation range for this role may be modified. Our total compensation consists of base salary and equity (RSUs).
